Travel is a privilege. One that I don't carry lightly. I understand not everyone can travel. While I enjoy it, I sometimes wonder why we don't all seek more adventure in our lives. Maybe it's going to a movie by yourself or going out to eat alone. So many times when I travel alone people meet me with an astonished expression and often I hear, "I could never do that." Ya know? I kinda get what they're feeling when they say that. See I used to be very shy at times growing up. I would fear saying anything because I didn't want to be perc...

Yesterday closed out my fiscal year in sales and I am proud to say I had my personal best selling year with the company yet at $1.2M in sales. I worked hard!

See I had made the Million Dollar Club in both 2015 & 2016 but last year fell short by $77k. If you know me, I can be kind of stubborn. Don't laugh. 😉 So this year I was super pressed to not miss my personal goal and look what hard work did!!

I know that not all of this is me because it says we co-labor with Christ so I want to give a grateful shout out to my main squeeze, Jesus....

I'm sure you're trying to figure me out at this point. My brand. My personality. Who I am. Social media is something I'm still learning. Sometimes I just want to present myself to the world and not worry about the fine tuned details of perception or hash-tagging or marketing, like the grueling decision of when to spend money on a Facebook ad or not. The digital world is moving at paces that even society may have trouble catching onto. And I'll be honest, I have found myself in the past seeing successful bloggers and brand entrepreneur...

People.

Are so, so important.
Lives matter.
Stories matter.
Truth.
Truth and compassion is to be treated with priority and prominence.
The depth of your heart to give is what to be measured by.
Give.
Give richly without hindrance and without suspicion.
Discern the eyes and truth behind a face in need.
Extend love without taking off your armor.
Pray. For the war that is waging is both seen and unseen. Prayer changes everything.
Believe.
In yourself. In your home. In your community. In your world. (And maybe in your outer world?)
It is...

So on 7/7 I did a thing. To some it’s not huge but for me it was. I went 30 days dry. No alcohol. Zero. Zip. Zilch. What you may not know about me is I love my craft beer (hello, can you say IPA!) and gin. I’m already dreaming of my next gimlet! Real talk. Now wait a second because I can almost guess what you’re thinking... Did she have a problem? Was she trying to get sober? What would cause her to do that? I’ll tell you simply put: I sometimes live for a challenge. I feel that personal challenges are important for growth. Sometimes...

I'm not perfect.
I make mistakes.
Sometimes I'm awkward in social settings.
My humor can offend.
I'm down to earth which means I don't change in different social circles.
To some that makes me loveable.
To others offensive.
I've come out of some crazy life things.
I'm strong and courageous.
I'm bold but sometimes shy.
I'm outspoken but loyal.
And will fight for you in the battlefields of your life's seasons.
I recognize I'm not for everyone and what I'm trying to say is I guess that's okay with me.
I will manifest my dreams regardless but w...

Parsnip from the garden-- I think.... hahah! Let me know what you think this is? I planted it from seed and didn't add any markers.

This may be a premature pull but I am okay with that. I still have another I can harvest later. Growing your own vegetables gives you an appreciation for the farmers we take for granted. Because I can buy it again, there's less of an urgency to use my resources wisely. But when I grow my own, I realize how important it is to be resourceful. I'm so joyful that the earth and its bounty teaches us to steward...

I'm learning a lot in this season. So I'd love to share and feel free to share with me as to how God is growing you.

°Life has seasons. Some people are for your season. Some seasons are short. Some are long. But I'm learning to let people fill that void instead of worrying or becoming sad that the season will end. Sometimes it won't end. Maybe those of you who have had the privilege and beauty of lifelong friendships may not understand this but this is for those who feel lonely. My life has been a revolving door of friendships. I would...

When considering what items to adorn your yard, beauty isn't the only factor. Checking the invasive nature of certain plants is crucial. Invasive plants can grow exponentially and can be difficult to rid once planted, threatening the life of other plants and providing much painstaking labor for removal. Although a plant may be pretty, you may want to think twice about these invasive varieties. Always check before you plant something in your yard!! You can even find some invasive plants in garden stores for sale so don't think just bec...

My oily journey has been just that... a journey! But it started with this kit. My first diffuser was different but honestly this diffuser is my fav yet!! These oils are my constant go-to for so many different things.

My life is infused with oils it seems. They're practically in every room-- should I be admitting that out loud? Having oils in my life has helped me so much, both emotionally and physically! I feel so grounded and connected when I'm staying "oiled up."

And I love this company's quality more than anything. Over the year...
