Gardens teach us gratefulness!

Parsnip from the garden-- I think.... hahah! Let me know what you think this is? I planted it from seed and didn't add any markers.

This may be a premature pull but I am okay with that. I still have another I can harvest later. Growing your own vegetables gives you an appreciation for the farmers we take for granted. Because I can buy it again, there's less of an urgency to use my resources wisely. But when I grow my own, I realize how important it is to be resourceful. I'm so joyful that the earth and its bounty teaches us to steward its edible rewards and grants us a new perspective. One of gratitude and reverence for what our land can do for us.
